Iris salon software works easily with bar code scanners. Using a bar code scanner
is optional. We recommend using a Metrologic 9520 bar code scanner.

and ordering information. Salon Iris salon software works with existing bar code labels that come on your products or you can print your own labels. You may want to print your own labels if you make artwork, clothes, or have cosmetics that do not come with bar code labels.
Printers That Work With Salon Iris Salon Software
You can print bar code labels on the following printers:
- Your regular full- size printer using sheets of
gum labels. We recommend Avery brand labels.
OR
- A Dymo LabelWriter printer. Dymo printers are
ideal if printing smaller quantities of labels at a time.
Either way, you will end up with great looking labels.

Printing with Salon Iris Salon Software
Salon Iris salon management software makes printing bar code labels quick and easy. You may customize your
own bar code labels and print them.
Simply select what type of format you would like
to print. If you are printing to Avery brand labels, simply select
one of the 38 predefined formats from Salon Iris salon software. If you want to
use a different format, do not worry! You can add as many custom
label types as you like.
