Design Your Own Custom Gift Cards
We want to help you make a statement. You can work with us to design completely custom gift cards for your
salon that will integrate with Salon Iris software for a simple, easy, and beautiful way for you to promote your salon.
Step 2: Choose Your Card Color
Our traditional cards are available in various colors for a special touch. Some colored cards allow only certain
types of printing, but make a bold, beautiful statement.
- white cards: white cards are the most popular and offer the most flexibility
for printing full color images and logos on both sides.
- silver, gold and copper metallic cards: full color or solid black printing.
- red and black cards: solid white, black, silver or gold printing.
- light blue, tan or matte gray cards: full color, solid metallic, solid white or solid black.

All custom card orders are subject to a $25 setup fee for initial design
or changes to design for card reorders.
Step 1: Choose Your Logo, Text, and Images
We will design your custom cards using your business’s logo,
background images of your choosing, and custom text such as your business
address, website, gift card policies, or anything you desire! After you purchase, we'll instruct you how to send all the information to us
and one of our talented gift card designers will make a card

Step 3: Choose Standard or Key chain Cards
We also offer unique key chain cards that you can design as gift cards or ID
cards. Key chain cards really make a great impression, and your clients' keys
will remain a constant reminder of your business!
Step 5: Optional Printing Add-Ons
Prices listed in the main pricing table are for full color, front side printing on cards of any color.
For printing on the backside of cards, there is a small additional per-card fee.

A Few Tips To Follow When Sending Us Your Card Images
When sending in your own image or logo, or when working on the custom card design with one of our
gift card designers, there are a few specifications to follow. Please contact us if you have any
questions on these specifications.
- Image size format: Images should be sent in a .jpg, .bmp, .pdf,
.eps, or .psd file format. After placing your card order, please rename and send in your
custom image at www.daysmart.com/sendfile (example: rename 'image.jpg' to 'yourbusinessname.jpg'
so that we know it is from your business). Background images or
logos should be no smaller than 1030x646 pixels in size, and 300dpi.
- Image colors and tones: Some images with intense, solid dark backgrounds may have trouble
printing on gift cards. If you are unsure if your design will print well, our gift card designers
are always happy to postal mail a physical 'hard copy proof' sample of the design to you for
in-person review of the gift card. Images with gradients (fading from one color to another) do not
generally print well, and are not recommended.
- Limitations for colored card printing: If you would like to have metallic cards or
metallic print we will not be able to include a barcode. Barcode scanners will reflect off of the
shiny metallic surface, and will not be able to read the barcode itself. Because of this, the only
methods of entry for metallic cards or metallic printing are either a magnetic stripe or hand-typing
in the gift card ID number. When ordering solid black or solid red colored cards, full color printing
is not an option: only all solid white, all solid silver or all solid gold printing is available for
black cards. Solid red cards do have the additional options of all solid black printing available.
