The biggest success for Salon Iris was that they were one of the first companies to offer online booking for salons and day spas. In 2001, they released the 'Online Booking Appointment' feature. Once this optional feature is successfully installed, the salon automatically receives a personal website. This website displays information about their staff of salon and spa professionals as well as when they are available for appointments. Clients can easily and conveniently go online to select the service they want and with which hairstylist or spa professional. The Salon Iris software system quickly informs the receptionist of the newly booked appointment.
