Linking Your Web Site To Salon Iris's Online Booking System

You have the option to use your own, unique web site that is not hosted by CMJ Designs Inc., makers of Salon Iris Software.  Using a web site that is not hosted by CMJ Designs Inc. has two advantages:

1. Your existing web site can be used or
2. A new, "ground-up" web site for your business can be created.   If you wish to use the online appointment booking feature, but have your own, unique web site, you should sign-up for an online booking account with Salon Iris. You must also put a link from your web site to the booking page on the Salon Iris online appointment booking web site.

The advantage of having your own web site allows you to create and maintain your own web site.  If you choose to use the online appointment booking feature with Salon Iris Software, setup is fast and easy.

To bring up the Salon Iris Software online booking page on your web site, simply add the following link:
http://www.OurSalonOnline.com/Online/book.aspx?acc=ACCOUNT
where "ACCOUNT" is the name of your account (that you selected when you signed up for the online appointment booking).

Example
For example, if your account name is ABC, then the link would be as follows:
http://www.OurSalonOnline.com/Online/book.aspx?acc=ABC
This link will bring up only the booking page. The header and sidebar (list of links on the left side of the page) will not be displayed.

For best results, it is recommended that your web site use frames and that the link to the booking page appears in main portion of the frame.  This way, you can have your business's header and sidebar present when your customer is booking an appointment.  Using frames will also cause the URL not to change, so your customers will not know they are actually booking their appointment on the Salon Iris Software online appointment booking web site.
