Salon Software Local Area (Within the Same Building) Networked Computer Requirements

Salon Iris networking uses a true Server/Client relationship for maximum speed and efficiency. The Server computer is a fully functioning computer that you can take appointments, run payroll, look up clients, etc. You do not need a dedicated Server computer or a very high end computer. See the chart below for requirements. The Server computer is the computer that SQL Server 2005 Express (or SQL Server (depending on the number of client computers)) is installed on and makes the backups of the database.

You can use any computer (Dell, HP, Gateway, etc.) you like that meets the requirements listed below. You can also purchase a computer from Best Buy.
